Chiba Faculty of Nursing

This faculty works with the Japan Community Healthcare Organization (JCHO) to train nursing professionals capable of actively participating in regionally-contained healthcare projects.

Division of Nursing

The Chiba Faculty of Nursing works with the Japan Community Healthcare Organization (JCHO) to give students access to an extensive variety of clinical settings with the goal of turning out innovative nursing professionals able to effectively meet the needs of various communities and our changing times.

Providing the reliable healthcare and nursing services that allow people to stay in their communities

The Chiba Faculty of Nursing actively participates in regional healthcare projects with the aim of developing nursing professionals who can support community members in living the way they want to—regardless of health condition. To this end, students develop both an independence driven by professional knowledge and skills and the ability to support team-based healthcare as well as integrated rural care. The curriculum is designed to give them the skills to synthesize diverse information and creatively meet patient needs in light of regional characteristics and policies. Our work with the Japan Community Healthcare Organization (JCHO) allows us to provide practically-focused classroom instruction as well.
